VXG Private Cloud VMS is a customizable, scalable, true cloud video surveillance platform with everything needed to build a private-labeled Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) solution. It will be hosted in your AWS Account allowing you to be a SaaS Provider. VXG will provide installation, setup, feature, and security updates at no extra cost.

VXG Private Cloud VMS is designed for integration with other solutions or building new services that work with IP cameras. The open API lets you integrate your in-house and 3rd party systems, and customize the entire solution to your exact specifications. White-label web and mobile front-ends provide your branded user experience.

There are 3 main components of the Private Cloud VMS: 1) Cloud Services that will be deployed on your AWS Account. 2) White-label VSaaS Template, including web font-end and mobile apps. 3) Camera Connectivity Tools.

Recording - real-time object storage or camera SD card with backup to the object storage.

Streaming - low latency WebRTC, HLS through CDN, RTMP, and RTSP.

Events - events from IP cameras (motion, audio, AI) and cloud AI services.

AI (video analytics) - object recognition using Amazon Rekognition by event (motion) or continuously.

AWS Cost

The AWS cost of all main services is approximately $200/month for up to 70 cameras. With large deployments and using cost-saving plans, the cost per camera can be decreased to $1/month. This doesn't include storage and AI that can be enabled or disabled per camera at any time. The storage (S3) cost is usually around $3/month per camera for continuous 24/7 recording and 30 days of retention. The AI (Amazon Rekognition) cost depends on the amount of motion and is usually a few dollars/month per camera.
