Based on key demographic and socio-economic characteristics, Ireland Consumer Segmentation data classifies households into categories and groups. The market-specific segmentation consists of 36 categories organized into 10 groups. The international segmentation is grouped into 5 income types and further divided into 25 standard life stage categories for consistent classification when comparing across countries. Additional analysis variables relate to presence of children, adults 60 and older, household size, house type, house age, tenure, number of rooms, employment sector and average income in local currency.
