How it works

From contract chaos to clean procurement in three steps.

Built for procurement, IT, and finance teams who want one source of truth — not three spreadsheets and an inbox.

STEP 01

Upload your software list

Drop a CSV or sync from your ERP. We auto-detect renewal dates, AWS-eligible vendors, and EDP impact across every contract.

STEP 02

Run renewals as competitive bids

Post a request once. Receive 3–5 structured offers from vendors and resellers — compared side-by-side with AI-assisted summaries.

STEP 03

Close on AWS Marketplace

Accept the winning offer and transact through AWS — burning down your EDP commitment with no new MSAs or AP cycles.

We saved 28% on our largest security renewal in 11 days. Three competing offers, all routed through our AWS commit. Our CFO asked why we hadn't been doing this for everything.

FAQ

Buyer questions, answered.

Is Webvar really free for buyers?

Yes. There's no cost, no seat fee, and no subscription for buying teams. Vendors pay a small success fee on closed deals — never the buyer.

Do I need an AWS Marketplace account?

You'll need an AWS account to transact through Marketplace, but it doesn't have to be your primary workload account. We help you wire it up during onboarding, and most renewals can be routed in under a day.

What if my preferred vendor isn't on Webvar?

We invite them on your behalf. If they're not already a listed vendor, we onboard them to AWS Marketplace and your bid as part of your first renewal — no extra steps for you.

How does the EDP burn-down work?

Every dollar you spend on AWS Marketplace via a Webvar-routed deal counts toward your AWS Enterprise Discount Program commitment. We track remaining commit and surface which renewals could route to AWS to draw it down.

Can I import contracts from my ERP?

Yes — CSV upload works out of the box, and we integrate with NetSuite, SAP, and most major procurement systems. You can also forward contract PDFs and we'll extract the key fields automatically.

How does approval routing work?

Configure sequential approval chains per dollar threshold or category. Approvers get a magic-link email, no Webvar account required. Every approval is logged in a tamper-proof audit trail.

Is my contract and inventory data secure?

Yes. Data is tenant-scoped and encrypted at rest. We support SSO (SAML/OIDC), SCIM provisioning, and pass SOC 2 controls. Vendor offers and inventory are visible only to your team — never to other buyers.
