This specific API provides financial information about German companies where available. As input it takes the Implisense ID, which you can obtain via the [German Company Lookup](https://eu-central-1.console.aws.amazon.com/dataexchange/home?region=eu-central-1#/owned/products/prod-i33ajl4ytx7nu) product. The provided information includes balance sheet total, revenue, profit and loss as well as number of employees.

IMPORTANT: Our [German Company Lookup](https://eu-central-1.console.aws.amazon.com/dataexchange/home?region=eu-central-1#/owned/products/prod-i33ajl4ytx7nu) product also provides you with an endpoint to verify the availability of financial information (GET /companies/{id}/financials/exists). It is recommended you use this endpoint as its cost is significantly lower than for this API here (subscription is free, pricing is based on usage only).
